Principles of Diagnosing Common Parasitic Infections in Iran
The Executive Committee of the 17th International and 23rd National Congress on Quality Improvement of Clinical Laboratory Services in Iran is pleased to announce the scheduling of the specialized scientific panel titled: “Principles of Diagnosing Common Parasitic Infections in Iran.”
This pivotal scientific session will be held with the participation of four distinguished academic faculty members representing the Tehran, Shahid Beheshti, and Kerman Universities of Medical Sciences. The panel is dedicated to the comprehensive review of diagnostic principles for common parasitic infections, with a specific focus on modern laboratory techniques and diagnostic challenges evolved over the past decade.
The discussion will encompass the integration of advanced technologies in the diagnosis of human parasitic infections, with in-depth analysis of critical diseases including cutaneous and visceral leishmaniasis, cystic echinococcosis, and intestinal coccidiases (cryptosporidiasis, cyclosporidiasis, sarcocystosis, and cystoisosporiasis).
